Barbara, a 76-year-old American tourist, visited Hangzhou, and watched 70 species of birds in Jiangyangfan Ecological Park and Yuhang North Lake within one day.

These two places are famous birdwatching spots in Hangzhou, with abundant bird species. Although Barbara is not a senior birdwatcher, she enjoyed nature and communication, shared her daily life, and praised China’s ecosystem and cuisine.

At present, there are 478 species of wild birds recorded in Hangzhou. Autumn and winter are the best birdwatching seasons. Many places become popular birdwatching spots, such as Xixi National Wetland Park, West Lake, and Qingshan Lake.
