Global top cyclists compete for spots in World Championships at Qiandao Lake

2025 UCI Gran Fondo World Series Hangzhou China came to an end at Qiandao Lake on September 6-7. It is the final qualifying competition of this year. Nearly 1,500 players from about 30 countries participate in the competition, to compete for the spots in the Cycling World Championships.
This is the first time for China to host such grand competition. It is the first international A-level cycle race after Hangzhou Asian Games. The track connects two "golden cycling trails of Qiandao Lake", and the route includes lakeside sections and mountainous sections, which tests the comprehensive abilities of players.
The person in charge of UCI reckoned, Hangzhou's hosting and sports climate inject new vitality into the global series.
