On August 2, the State Key Laboratory of Brain-Machine Intelligence at Zhejiang University launchedDarwin Monkey, the new generation of neuromorphic brain-inspired computer.

It is composed of 15 servers, and is equipped with 960 Darwin third-generation brain-inspired chips, approaching the size of the macaque's brain, regarded as the world's first brain-inspired computer with the neuronal scale of 2 billion.

The power ofDarwin Monkeyis only 2,000 watts.Darwin Monkeycan complete multiple tasks and simulate the brains of various animals. It is possible for computers to learn and evolve independently like the human brain.
