On July 22, at Lotus Beach Waters of Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou,Hydrophasianus chirurguswith black, brown and white plumage played in the water, foraged for food, and incubated the eggs.

Hydrophasianus chirurgusis a secondary protected wild animal of China. Due to its graceful appearance and elegant long tail, it is known as "Water Phoenix".

The settlement and reproductionof Hydrophasianus chirurgusare attributed to ecological protection at Xixi Wetland. Over the past 20 years, the wetland plants, insects and birds have surged. More and more rare species have settled here.
