Hangzhou-based enterprises shine at Summer Davos Forum
The 16th Summer Davos Forum came to an end in Tianjin on June 26. Hangzhou's top sci-tech enterprises, including Unitree Robotics, BrainCo, DEEP Robotics, Bota Bio, and Deep Principle, drew global attention.
Two companies from Hangzhou are included in the 2025 Technology Pioneer Listat the forum. With R&D spending often exceeding 20 percent of revenue, these firms exemplify Hangzhou-style breakthroughs in emerging fields.
Artificial intelligence becomes a key topic for discussion. Hangzhou has cultivated world-class AIGC, such as Alibaba's Qwen, DeepSeek and Manycore Tech. Recently, Hangzhou has launched an artificial intelligence strategy with 20 policies to support talent, infrastructure, and application ecosystems.
