The2025 Grand Canal Cultural Belt Beijing-Hangzhou Dialogueopened in Beijing on May 29, themed "Sails Racing, Canal Thriving".

Since its launch in 2019, the dialogue has promoted the cooperation and cultural exchange among cities along this historical waterway. This year’s event highlights the canal's transformation in Beijing and Hangzhou. In Beijing, more than 500 million cubic meters of water have revitalized the waterway, supporting waterside greenway, wetland parks, and Grand Canal Culture Tourist Area.In Hangzhou, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum and Hangzhou Grand Canal Steelworks Parkhas become cultural landmarks.

Three Grand Canal IPs, including Grand Canal Mascot IP, Trendy Toy IP, andChina Grand Canal Museology Handbook, are released to promote cultural transmission.
