2025 West Lake Half Marathon kicked off on May 25, and 5,000 players start from Huanglong Sports Center, and pass through the Broken Bridge, Leifeng Pagoda and other scenic spots of the West Lake, enjoying the wonderful scenery of Hangzhou during running.

Compared with other marathon events, the West Lake Half Marathon is more like an elite competition, and there are higher registration requirements. The competition duration is two hours and ten minutes, which is the shortest among similar domestic events. This also reduces the impact of the event on citizens and tourists.
