The Second Jimmy Carter Forum on U.S.-China Relations was held in Hangzhou on March 21-23. About 70 distinguished guests, including experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from the Carter Center and famous colleges & universities at home and abroad, jointly discuss U.S.-China economic and trade cooperation, as well as sci-tech academic exchanges.

As a city that witnesses many important moments in U.S.-China relations, Hangzhou has numerous cultural landscapes that show the history of friendly exchanges between the United States and China, such as Octagonal Pavilion, U.S.-China Friendship Well, Former Residence of John Leighton Stuart, and U.S.-China Friendship Folk Memorial Hall.
